Long before Baseball caps became the norm, this style work hat saw heavy use throughout the United State across nearly every labor industry.
 
Farmers, Machinists, Mechanics, Construction Workers, the Civilian Conservation Corps, the US Military, and many others used similar work hats.
 
This style was often preferred among workers who wore the hat beneath a helmet, or those who needed unobstructed vision while working on up-close projects such as Machinists, Welders, and Mechanics.
 
This pattern consists of a close fitting Six-piece Crown, with a cloth Band and Short (Welders) Brim.
