“Ol’ Scrappy: The Scrapyard Hat”
Back in the 1930s everything was saved and nothing wasted.  Work hats were often made using fabric scraps from other garments, table cloths, feed sacks, blankets, and more. Because fabrics were quite costly in those days it was not uncommon for homemade work garmants to be made using a mixed batch of fabrics.
The Scrapyard Hat is a reproduction of the mixed batch utilitarianism of our ancestors. Here are two examples of the limitless combinations available.
