This is a great design for folks who like the pleated crown style of the Engineer Hat but want the low profile look of a Welders Cap.
 
“The Boilerman” has a low profile pleated crown (1/4”) lower than on Engineer caps. It is also made using a short Welders brim making this an ideal hat for Machinists, Mechanics, Carpanters, or just about anyone who wants an unfussy work cap that you can put on in the morning and forget your are wearing it until 30 minutes after you went to bed.
